EHS & Warehouse Operations Lead
WeCare PharmacyPosition Overview WeCare Pharmaceuticals is seeking an experienced EHS & Warehouse Operations Lead to join our growing 503B pharmaceutical operation. This is a key hybrid role responsible for leading day-to-day warehouse operations while supporting Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) compliance across the facility. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in an FDA-regulated pharmaceutical, biotech, or 503B environment and understands the importance of quality, safety, compliance, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will: Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, inspection, quarantine, storage, inventory control, material movement, and outbound distribution. Ensure APIs, components, supplies, and finished products are properly received, tracked, stored, and released in accordance with cGMP requirements. Monitor temperature-controlled storage environments, including refrigerated, frozen, and ambient areas. Maintain accurate lot-controlled inventory using ERP/WMS systems and conduct routine cycle counts. Coordinate cold-chain shipping and carrier dispatch using temperature-validated shipping processes. Maintain facility EHS programs, including Hazard Communication (SDS), Injury and Illness Prevention, Emergency Action Plans, and LOTO. Support safe handling, containment, and spill-response practices for hazardous APIs and sterilants in accordance with USP <800>. Oversee proper storage and disposal of biohazardous, chemical, and pharmaceutical waste. Conduct routine safety walkthroughs and support employee safety training. Maintain emergency and safety equipment and help ensure ongoing facility readiness. Represent warehouse and EHS operations during FDA, OSHA, EPA, and State Board inspections. Manage procurement and contract negotiations. Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Supply Chain Management, Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field preferred. An associate’s degree in a science or technical discipline combined with 6+ years of direct pharmaceutical/cGMP warehouse and EHS leadership experience may be considered in lieu of a four-year degree. 3–6+ years of warehouse/logistics experience in an FDA-regulated environment, such as 503B compounding, pharmaceutical manufacturing, or biotechnology. Knowledge & Skills Practical knowledge of FDA cGMP requirements (21 CFR Part 211). Knowledge of USP <800> hazardous drug handling, OSHA General Industry standards, and EPA/RCRA waste requirements. Experience with WMS/ERP inventory and lot-tracking systems. Hands-on experience with manual/electric pallet jacks and dock equipment. Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on safety, compliance, documentation, and operational execution. Commitment to maintaining current knowledge of evolving FDA, State Board of Pharmacy, and OSHA requirements. Why Join WeCare Pharmaceuticals?
