The Ockers CompanyPOSITION SUMMARY The eCommerce & Inventory Recovery Specialist is responsible for identifying, managing, and monetizing inventory that is no longer needed, cannot be returned to a vendor, has become excess or obsolete, or has been returned by customers. This position functions as a “reverse procurement” resource , working closely with Procurement, Warehouse, Sales, Finance, Marketing, and TouchView to determine the best disposition strategy for products and convert otherwise underutilized inventory into revenue. A major initiative for this position will be supporting the development and ongoing operation of a nationwide direct-sales channel for TouchView Interactive , including the establishment and management of the TouchView Amazon store. The position will collaborate with the TouchView Sales and Marketing teams, which will provide product content, marketing strategy, and brand support. The ideal candidate is commercially minded, analytical, resourceful, and comfortable creating solutions where a standard process does not yet exist. Success in this role will be measured by the amount of inventory successfully monetized, revenue and margin generated, inventory aging reduced, and the development of sustainable online sales channels. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESInventory Recovery & Disposition ● Regularly review inventory to identify aging, excess, obsolete, discontinued, and otherwise underutilized products. ● Partner with the Procurement team to identify products that have been received but cannot be returned to the vendor and require an alternative disposition strategy. ● Partner with the Warehouse team to identify and process products returned by customers, including equipment returned as part of hardware upgrade initiatives. ● Evaluate returned and excess products to determine their condition, completeness, marketability, and potential sales value. ● Determine the most appropriate disposition channel for each product, including: ○ Amazon ○ eBay or other marketplaces ○ Direct sales ○ Internal use ○ Sales team opportunities ○ Liquidation or other disposition ● Establish recommended pricing based on product cost, condition, market value, demand, and competitive pricing. ● Develop and maintain a process for moving products from identification through final disposition. ● Coordinate with Finance to ensure appropriate inventory adjustments, cost tracking, revenue recognition, and reporting. ● Track inventory disposition results and identify recurring causes of excess or obsolete inventory. TouchView eCommerce & Amazon ● Support the development and launch of the TouchView Amazon store as a nationwide direct-sales channel. ● Manage the operational aspects of the Amazon storefront, including product setup, SKU management, inventory availability, pricing, orders, fulfillment coordination, returns, and marketplace requirements. ● Work closely with the TouchView Sales team to determine products, pricing, sales strategies, and opportunities for online sales. ● Collaborate with the Marketing team on product launches, promotions, merchandising, campaigns, and brand presentation. ● Coordinate with Marketing and other internal resources responsible for product content, photography, graphics, descriptions, and other customer-facing materials. ● Monitor Amazon sales activity, inventory levels, pricing, customer feedback, returns, and overall channel performance. ● Identify opportunities to expand the TouchView product offering through Amazon and other appropriate online channels. ● Develop recommendations for additional products, accessories, bundles, and complementary offerings that could increase online revenue. ● Ensure Amazon inventory and product availability remain aligned with actual Ockers inventory.
