Primoris Services CorporationJob Overview: Job Summary** Oversee and manage all electrical and instrumentation construction activities for Primoris Energy Services - Nexus projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution in accordance with project schedules and budgets. Job Responsibilities** Lead, mentor, and supervise E&I construction teams, including superintendents, foremen, and craft personnel. Develop, implement, and enforce project-specific E&I construction plans, procedures, and schedules. Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations, company policies, and environmental standards on site. Manage and coordinate E&I subcontractors, ensuring their performance meets contractual obligations and quality standards. Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and vendor documentation for E&I systems. Oversee the procurement, delivery, and proper storage of E&I materials and equipment. Monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain project timelines and budgets. Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure workmanship meets project specifications. Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports to project management. Collaborate effectively with other discipline managers, project controls, and client representatives. Manage change orders and claims related to E&I scope. Participate in project planning, constructability reviews, and risk assessments. Ensure accurate and timely project documentation and record-keeping. Job Qualifications** Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent extensive experience. Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in E&I construction management, preferably within the oil and gas, petrochemical, or power generation industries. Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale E&I construction projects from inception to completion. In-depth knowledge of electrical codes (e.g., NEC), instrumentation standards, and construction best practices. Strong understanding of project management principles, including scheduling, budgeting, and cost control. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in reading and interpreting P&IDs, electrical schematics, loop diagrams, and architectural/structural drawings. Experience with construction management software and project scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera P6). OSHA 30-hour certification preferred. Ability to travel to various project sites as required.
