E-Commerce Fulfillment & Delivery Dispatch Associate Location: Capitol Hill, Washington, DC Position: Full-Time / Part-Time Industry: Cannabis Retail Job Description We are seeking an experienced, organized, and detail-oriented individual to handle online order fulfillment and delivery dispatch at a busy cannabis dispensary. Prior experience fulfilling orders at a licensed cannabis dispensary is required. This is a fast-paced position involving accurately picking products for online orders, preparing orders for pickup and delivery, and coordinating delivery drivers through Onfleet while optimizing routes for efficiency. Key Responsibilities E-Commerce & Order Fulfillment Learn the store's inventory and quickly locate products. Accurately pick products for online pickup and delivery orders. Verify product names, quantities, weights, and sizes. Organize completed orders for efficient pickup and delivery. Maintain an organized and efficient fulfillment area. Delivery Dispatch & Route Optimization Assign delivery orders to drivers using Onfleet. Plan and optimize delivery routes to minimize travel time and maximize driver efficiency. Monitor driver locations and delivery progress in real time. Coordinate driver departures and ensure orders are ready before dispatch. Adjust routes as new orders arrive throughout the day. Communicate with drivers to resolve delivery issues and delays. Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on time. Required Qualifications Previous order fulfillment experience at a cannabis dispensary is mandatory. Familiarity with cannabis products, weights, packaging, and dispensary inventory systems. Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. Ability to multitask and prioritize orders in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable using computers, tablets, and e-commerce platforms. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently. Preferred Qualifications Experience using Dutchie or similar dispensary e-commerce/POS systems. Experience with Onfleet or other delivery dispatch platforms. Previous experience coordinating multiple delivery drivers. Familiarity with Washington, DC neighborhoods and delivery routes. The ideal candidate can quickly locate products, minimize fulfillment errors, and make intelligent dispatch decisions to keep drivers moving efficiently.
