D&M Tilt and Load is hiring an experienced DZ Float & Tandem Tilt-N-Load Driver for a full-time daytime position in Ottawa.
Schedule
• Monday to Friday
• 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• No regular weekend work
Pay
• $30.00–$33.00 per hour, based on experience

work includes scissor lifts, Bobcats, zoom booms and other heavy construction equipment. We are looking for an experienced operator who can confidently work with both float and tandem equipment.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate float and tandem tilt-n-load equipment safely and efficiently
• Load, secure, transport and unload construction equipment and materials
• Plan safe loading and unloading procedures for different equipment and job sites
• Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers and job-site personnel
• Follow all traffic laws, load-securement requirements and company safety procedures
• Identify and report equipment or vehicle concerns promptly
Requirements
• Valid Ontario DZ driver’s licence with a clean driving record; AZ licence is preferred
• Demonstrated experience operating both float and tandem equipment
• Strong knowledge of load securement and safe equipment transport
• Experience moving construction equipment such as scissor lifts, Bobcats and zoom booms
• Ability to work Monday to Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Physically capable of working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Reliable, punctual, safety-focused and professional
• Applicants must already have meaningful hands-on experience; this is not an entry-level driver position
