Dump Truck Driver/Nights

Job Overview As a Dump Truck Driver, you’ll transport materials safely between job sites and delivery locations. You’ll inspect your truck, plan routes with GPS navigation, and coordinate loading and unloading to keep freight moving efficiently. This role may involve commercial truck driving on local routes or over-the-road (OTR) driving routes, depending on operational needs. Duties Operate a dump truck and other assigned commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, with manual transmission when required. Complete route driving and delivery driving; secure, transport, and deliver cargo, including automobile transportation when assigned. Coordinate truck loading and unloading, load and unload materials, and handle logistics cargo safely. Inspect vehicles and loads before, during, and after trips; report defects, delays, or safety concerns promptly. Follow applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations, including hazardous materials regulations when transporting hazmat or dangerous goods. Skills Required: Valid commercial driving qualifications applicable to the role, safe driving practices, and ability to perform manual handling. Required: Truck driving or delivery driver experience, route awareness, and familiarity with commercial driving procedures. Preferred: Experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbed or tanker equipment, and freight handling. Preferred: Familiarity with GPS navigation, automobile transportation, and OTR routes. Ability to follow vehicle-specific procedures for loading and unloading and comply with relevant safety requirements. Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour Work Location: In person
