Job Overview ***MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE A MANUAL TRANSMISSION*** $30.00 Per Hour/ Weekly Pay We are seeking a motivated and dependable Class A or Class B Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and other freight across various job sites and routes. Responsibilities: Safely operate dump trucks ***MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE A MANUAL TRANSMISSION*** Must maintain a valid DOT medical examiner's certificate (Medical DOT card) Driving Record: Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations. Experience: 2 years of verifiable experience driving commercial dump trucks or heavy-duty vehicles. Load and unload freight efficiently using manual handling techniques while ensuring cargo safety and security Navigate using GPS systems to reach destinations accurately and on schedule Comply with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), hazardous materials regulations, and hazardous goods handling standards Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, cargo documentation, and delivery records in accordance with regulatory requirements Conduct routine inspections of trucks before and after trips to ensure vehicle safety and report any mechanical issues promptly Load and unload freight at various sites, ensuring proper cargo handling techniques are followed for hazardous or fragile goods Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and delivery driving with tractor-trailers or flatbed trucks Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, tanker trucks, or specialized freight such as hazardous materials or dangerous goods is a plus Knowledge of logistics cargo handling procedures for freight transportation across diverse environments Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the vehicle types driven (e.g., Hazmat, Tanker) Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and safety protocols for truck loading/unloading Experience with GPS navigation systems and route planning software for efficient delivery scheduling Ability to manually handle cargo safely while adhering to safety standards for manual transmission vehicles and load securementJoin our team as a Dump Truck Driver where your skills drive success!
