Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Dump Truck Driver and Equipment Operator, where your expertise will drive the success of heavy-duty projects. In this vital role, you will operate a variety of construction machinery, including dump trucks, loaders, excavators, dozers, backhoes, and water trucks, to facilitate excavation, grading, utility work, and site development. Your skills will ensure safe, efficient transportation of materials and precise operation of equipment in compliance with all safety regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale construction projects while honing your mechanical and operational skills in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Safely operate dump trucks, water trucks, excavators, loaders, dozers, backhoes, and horizontal drilling equipment to move materials and support construction activities Conduct routine maintenance and safety inspections on all equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety procedures Transport construction materials such as dirt, gravel, debris, and utility supplies across job sites efficiently and responsibly Assist with construction utility work including utility locating and excavation tasks to support infrastructure development Follow federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures at all times to maintain a safe work environment Support site grading activities by operating heavy machinery like bulldozers and graders to achieve precise elevation levels Collaborate with team members to execute project plans accurately while adhering to construction site experience standards Requirements Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as dump trucks, excavators (including Caterpillar models), loaders, dozers, backhoes, water trucks, and tanker trucks Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record for commercial truck driving responsibilities Mechanical knowledge related to construction machinery maintenance and troubleshooting Construction site experience with familiarity in excavation, grading, utility work, horizontal drilling, and general construction operations Ability to perform routine equipment maintenance checks and minor repairs as needed Knowledge of federal construction safety regulations and adherence to all safety regulations on-site Strong understanding of construction utility work including utility locating techniques Physical ability to perform demanding tasks such as lifting heavy materials and operating machinery for extended periods Join us in building the future!
