Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will operate heavy-duty dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and other freight safely and efficiently across various routes. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, adherence to safety regulations, and ability to handle diverse cargo will ensure smooth operations on every job site. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale projects while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism. Duties Safely operate dump trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated trailers, following all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Load and unload cargo with manual handling techniques, ensuring proper securing of hazardous materials (hazmat) and dangerous goods according to hazardous materials regulations Navigate OTR (Over the Road) driving routes using GPS navigation systems for timely deliveries across long distances Transport freight such as construction materials, freight containers, or hazardous substances while complying with hazardous materials regulations Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and route information in accordance with FMCSA regulations Conduct routine inspections of trucks before and after trips to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT standards Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes, delivery schedules, or any issues encountered during transit Requirements Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements for tractor-trailer, tanker, flatbed, or refrigerated trailer as applicable Proven experience in truck driving, delivery driving, or freight transportation—preferably with load & unload responsibilities Knowledge of logistics cargo handling and truck loading/unloading procedures Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning for efficient OTR routes Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and safety standards for dangerous goods Ability to handle manual transmission vehicles and perform manual handling tasks safely Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record; experience in hazardous materials transportation is a plus Physical stamina for manual handling tasks and long hours on the road Join us if you’re ready to drive your career forward!
