Pay is weekly. $0.75/mile, 2,500-3,000 miles/week Fuel and all fees paid Dog friendly, passenger program available Start after Nov 2 | 1099 contractor Call/text Jerome: 828-424-1146 Duties Drive commercial trucks and tractor-trailers on assigned delivery and route-driving schedules, using GPS navigation to follow routes and adjust as needed. Inspect vehicles and equipment before and after trips; report issues and maintain required driving and delivery records. Load, unload, and secure freight using safe manual-handling practices; coordinate logistics cargo handling at pickup and delivery locations. Transport general freight. Your impact: Safe, timely deliveries help customers receive freight in good condition and keep supply chains moving Requirements Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL); experience with commercial truck driving, truck driving, or delivery driving is preferred. Knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. 2+ years experience, 3 years verifiable job history, DOT medical card. Clean MVR, background check and drug test required Ability to perform truck loading and unloading and handle freight safely.
