Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles with manual transmission to transport household or office items efficiently. Load and unload belongings using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or by manual lifting, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Deliver items to customers’ locations while providing outstanding customer service through clear communication and professionalism. Plan and follow optimized route driving schedules to meet delivery deadlines while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Assist with moving tasks by helping load, organize, and secure items in the truck for safe transport. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle inspection reports to ensure compliance and safety standards. Collaborate with warehouse staff for inventory management, receiving shipments, and preparing items for transport. Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, especially within moving or logistics industries. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles with manual transmission. Ability to lift heavy objects safely during loading/unloading processes; familiarity with heavy lifting techniques. Knowledge of warehouse operations including forklift operation and pallet jack handling is a plus. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving route schedules in urban or suburban areas. Familiarity with moving procedures, load & unload techniques, and safety protocols related to heavy lifting and transportation.
