Driver--Sprinter Van OTR

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Driver—Sprinter Van OTR (Over-the-Road)! As a key player in our logistics network, you'll be responsible for safely transporting goods across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing outstanding customer interactions. Your expertise in commercial driving and warehouse operations will drive our success and help us meet our commitment to excellence. Responsibilities Safely operate a Sprinter van or similar box truck on long-distance routes, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws. Load, secure, and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment while following safe lifting practices. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with all safety standards. Manage route driving efficiently, utilizing mobile devices for navigation and delivery updates to ensure timely arrivals at each destination. Load and unload goods at warehouses, distribution centers, or customer locations with precision and care. Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients during deliveries and pickups. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports throughout each shift to ensure transparency and accountability. Experience Proven experience in commercial driving, delivery driving, or courier services involving box trucks or vans. Warehouse experience including material handling equipment operation such as forklifts and pallet jacks. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and safe manual handling techniques. Knowledge of warehouse operations, heavy lifting protocols, and safe lifting practices. Understanding of DOT regulations related to weight handling in the workplace and route driving safety standards. Prior experience with personal vehicle delivery or moving services is a plus.
