Driver-Mover

Overview As a Driver-Mover, you’ll transport and deliver items safely while helping customers and teammates with loading, unloading, and moving. You’ll operate a box truck, van, or other assigned vehicle, follow planned routes, and use mobile devices to record delivery details. Your impact: Careful handling and dependable delivery help customers receive their belongings safely and on schedule. Responsibilities Drive assigned routes and complete delivery and moving tasks while following traffic regulations and applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements. Load, unload, and move items using safe lifting practices; follow workplace weight-handling guidelines and use a pallet jack or other material-handling equipment when appropriate. Provide courteous customer service and confirm delivery details using mobile devices. Support warehouse operations by organizing, staging, and handling materials. Report vehicle, load, or delivery concerns promptly. Experience Delivery driver, courier, van driver, or warehouse experience is helpful; experience in commercial driving, commercial truck driving, delivery driving, or route driving is preferred. Ability to drive a box truck and, where required, a vehicle with manual transmission; personal-vehicle delivery experience is also relevant. Comfortable with manual handling, moving, and heavy lifting, using safe lifting practices and following workplace weight-handling requirements. Familiarity with warehouse operations, material-handling equipment, and pallet jacks is an advantage. Able to use mobile devices, follow DOT regulations and traffic rules, and communicate professionally with customers.
