Driver- Medical Courier Service

As a key member of our courier team, you will operate a company vehicle, while adhering to strict safety and traffic regulations. Your commitment to exceptional customer service will help us deliver critical medical items efficiently and securely. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial vehicles such a company car or personal vehicles for scheduled deliveries and pickups. Load and unload medical supplies, specimens, and equipment using manual handling techniques ( 2 medical boxes). Follow designated routes using mobile devices for navigation, ensuring timely delivery while adhering to traffic laws and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery records in compliance with company policies. Communicate professionally with healthcare facilities, clients, and dispatch teams to coordinate pickup and delivery schedules. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met; report any mechanical issues promptly. Practice safe lifting techniques during manual handling tasks involving heavy or bulky items to prevent injury. Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably within healthcare or warehouse operations. Experience is flexible. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with driving specific routes preferred. Knowledge of traffic regulations, DOT compliance, and safe driving practices for commercial vehicles. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Comfortable using mobile devices for route navigation and documentation purposes. Physical ability to lift light loads safely, move items efficiently, and perform manual handling tasks regularly.
