Driver Local / Produce Warehouse

JOB DESCRIPTION About Us Coosemans Interproduce Division specializes in sourcing and distributing high-quality specialty produce from trusted growers around the world and local farms across the United States. Position Summary The Produce Warehouse Driver is responsible for accurately picking, loading, delivering, and storing fresh produce while maintaining inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency. This position combines warehouse operations with local delivery responsibilities and requires driving a refrigerated box truck used for produce distribution . The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Responsibilities Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately. Load and unload produce deliveries safely and efficiently. Operate a refrigerated box truck to deliver fresh produce to customers while maintaining proper product temperatures. Complete local delivery routes and ensure timely, accurate deliveries. Receive, inspect, and store incoming produce shipments. Build, wrap, and stage pallets for delivery. Assist with inventory control, stock rotation, and warehouse organization. Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment safely. Maintain delivery logs, paperwork, and delivery records. Follow all food safety, HACCP, company policies, and safety procedures. Assist with general warehouse duties as needed. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Minimum of 3 years of experience driving a refrigerated box truck, straight truck, or commercial delivery vehicle preferred. Experience delivering food, produce, grocery, restaurant, or refrigerated products preferred. Previous warehouse, produce handling, order selecting, shipping, or receiving experience preferred. Forklift certification or forklift operating experience preferred. Experience operating pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment preferred. Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. regularly. Ability to work in a refrigerated environment (34°F to 55°F). Strong attention to detail and commitment to customer service. Good communication and teamwork skills. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. English language proficiency required (spoken and written). Must be comfortable loading and unloading products as part of daily delivery routes.
