Driver Helper

Job Overview( Tue thoughSaturday ) We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Drivers Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist drivers in the transportation and delivery furniture, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and teamwork, as well as the ability to adapt to various driving environments. Candidates with experience in commercial driving or mechanical knowledge will find this position particularly rewarding. THIS POSTION YOU WILL BE LOADING AND UNLOADING. HOUSEHOLD ITEMS. Pay Is on Fridays . work a week and you’ll get paid the following Friday. Responsibilities Assist drivers with loading and unloading household items from Ashley Warehouse, ensuring safe handling of goods. Help navigate routes and provide support during deliveries, maintaining timely schedules. Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues to ensure safety compliance. Collaborate with the driver to ensure efficient route planning and execution. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and equipment used during deliveries. Communicate effectively with team members and customers to provide excellent service. Experience Prior experience loading and unloading route driving is preferred. Familiarity with freight handling and logistics is a plus. Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance is beneficial. Experience driving box trucks or limousines is advantageous. Military experience may be considered relevant for this role.
