Overview The Dock Worker/Forklift Operator/Class 1 Driver with air supports safe, accurate movement of goods through warehouse distribution. This hands-on role combines loading, unloading, equipment operation, and delivery-related driving to keep products moving efficiently. TRACTOR DRIVER CLASS 1 WITH AIR BRAKES MUST HAVE CLEAN ABSTRACT MUST HAVE CLEAN CRIMINAL RECORD CHECK FREIGHT AND DOCK EXPERIENCE AN ASSET PART TIME TO FULL TIME HOURS NIGHT SHIFT VARIOUS START TIMES HOURLY RATE AS PER UNION CONTRACT Required Education, Skills and Qualifications CLASS 1 WITH AIR BRAKES DG CERTIFICATE FORKLIFT CERTIFICATE Must be able to follow directions and work well with others as a team Must domicile in the Nanaimo area Requirements Required: Practical ability to handle heavy lifting, use basic math, follow safe material-handling practices, and complete accurate paperwork Mechanical knowledge supports equipment checks and prompt reporting of issues. Preferred: Experience in freight /warehouse distribution and familiarity with forklifts, are valuable strengths for contributing to smooth daily operations.
