Distribution Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Distribution Supervisor to join our bakery team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in distribution, dispatching, logistics, or a related field and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The Distribution Supervisor will oversee daily distribution operations, coordinate dispatching, ensure trucks are loaded accurately and on time, and help ensure all deliveries leave the facility according to schedule. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the distribution team. Manage and oversee the dispatching process, ensuring all deliveries are scheduled and dispatched on time. Coordinate delivery routes and communicate with drivers regarding schedules and changes. Ensure all products are properly organized and loaded onto trucks accurately and efficiently. Verify that orders are complete and ready before trucks leave the facility. Ensure trucks are loaded according to delivery routes and established procedures. Monitor drivers and distribution employees to ensure productivity and adherence to company procedures. Communicate with management regarding delivery schedules, delays, shortages, or other distribution issues. Help resolve problems related to deliveries, routes, drivers, and dispatching. Ensure proper handling of bakery products during loading and distribution. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe loading and distribution area. Ensure company safety and food-handling procedures are followed. Train and provide direction to distribution employees and drivers when necessary. Assist with other distribution-related duties as needed. Requirements Previous experience in distribution, dispatching, logistics, delivery operations, or a similar position. Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Bilingual in English and Spanish required. Spanish speaking candidates are strongly preferred. Valid driver’s license required. Reliable transportation. Must be available to work nights and weekends. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to supervise employees and work effectively with drivers. Must be dependable, punctual, and responsible. Ability to lift and move products and assist with loading trucks as needed.
