Distribution Manager

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Distribution Manager to oversee daily operations within a high-volume, fast-paced distribution center. This role will lead warehouse operations, manage a team of approximately 75 associates and supervisors, and ensure efficient order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, safety, and overall facility performance. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee daily distribution center and warehouse operations. Manage, develop, and support supervisors, team leaders, and associates. Maintain efficient operations in a high-volume fulfillment environment. Utilize ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to improve workflow and inventory accuracy. Oversee automated conveyor and material-handling systems. Monitor productivity, quality, inventory, and operational KPIs. Ensure customer service and retailer requirements are consistently met. Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and technology utilization. Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, accountability, and employee engagement. Work closely with internal teams to resolve operational issues and maintain smooth workflow. Prepare and review reports using Excel and other business systems. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Experience leading operations within a distribution center or large warehouse environment. Strong background in high-volume distribution and fulfillment operations. Experience managing large teams, including 50+ employees. Hands-on experience with ERP and WMS platforms. Knowledge of automated material-handling and conveyor systems. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to monitor KPIs and use operational data to drive improvements. Strong communication and leadership skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and reporting tools. Retail distribution experience is a plus.
