Distribution Logistics Coordinator
California Artisanal MedicineCalifornia Artisanal Medicine (CAM) is looking for a highly organized, dependable Distribution Logistics Coordinator to support our day-to-day distribution operations. This is a hands-on role at the center of distribution, inventory, transportation, and facility operations. The position coordinates route preparation, inventory movement, inter-facility transfers, fleet readiness, and compliance documentation while also providing backup delivery coverage and support to our sales team. Please note: This position requires hands-on METRC experience and the ability to drive CAM distribution vans, including providing delivery route coverage when needed. This is a full-time, onsite position with a regular schedule that includes Sundays. What You'll Do Prepare paperwork, driver binders, manifests, and supporting documentation for Northern and Southern California distribution routes Coordinate inventory and material transfers between CAM facilities Support daily order fulfillment, route preparation, quality control, loading, unloading, and return processing Maintain accurate, audit-ready distribution, transfer, fleet, and compliance records Use METRC to support transfers, manifests, reconciliation, and inventory activities Coordinate vehicle maintenance, inspections, service appointments, and fleet readiness Keep vehicles, driver binders, route supplies, and operational materials organized and ready Serve as a backup driver when scheduled drivers are unavailable, including completing deliveries and transfer routes Support Sales by preparing buyer boxes and sample kits, managing promotional inventory, completing shop drops, and assisting with account follow-up Receive packages and shipments and assist with visitors, vendors, and front-office operations Work closely with drivers, Sales, warehouse staff, vendors, and distribution leadership to keep daily operations moving Minimum Qualifications Must have working experience using METRC Must be able to drive CAM distribution vans and provide delivery/route coverage as needed Must be at least 21 years of age Must have a valid California driver's license Driving record must meet company and insurance requirements Must be eligible to operate company vehicles under CAM's commercial auto policy Must be able to obtain and maintain authorization to transport cannabis goods Experience with inventory, logistics, distribution, warehouse, or transportation operations Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent attention to detail Ability to maintain accurate documentation in a regulated environment Reliable attendance and punctuality Professional communication skills Backup Driving Responsibilities This position provides delivery and transfer route coverage when needed. Candidates must be comfortable driving company vans and completing full-day routes. When providing route coverage, the Distribution Logistics Coordinator is responsible for required manifests and documentation, vehicle inspections, secure transportation of cannabis products, completing deliveries, obtaining required signatures and receipts, and reconciling returned products and payments. Schedule This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Sunday availability is required as part of the regular schedule. Candidates must also be available for early start times and occasional schedule adjustments to support distribution routes and short-notice driver coverage. Overtime may occasionally be required.
