Dispatcher & Operation Coordinator

Job Summary PNEWS MM Logistics Canada is an Ottawa-based logistics company coordinating freight and deliveries across Ontario and beyond. Every shipment depends on clear communication and sharp scheduling—and that's where you come in. We're looking for a Dispatcher & Operations Coordinator who can keep drivers moving, clients informed, and operations running smoothly. As our Dispatcher & Operations Coordinator, you'll be the hub of our daily operations—assigning loads, coordinating drivers, tracking shipments, and resolving issues as they arise. You'll work remotely from anywhere in Ontario, communicating with drivers and clients by phone and dispatch software to keep everything on schedule. Responsibilities Assign loads and dispatch drivers based on schedules, routes, and availability Track shipments in real time and communicate updates to clients Coordinate with drivers, carriers, and customers to resolve delays and issues Maintain accurate dispatch records and daily logs Monitor driver hours and ensure compliance with transportation regulations Support operations planning, reporting, and process improvements Handle urgent issues and after-hours coordination as needed Experience 1–2 years of experience in dispatch, logistics, transportation, or operations coordination Excellent phone manner and clear communication skills Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask Familiarity with dispatch software, TMS, or logistics platforms is an asset Ability to stay calm and prioritize under pressure Quiet, reliable home workspace and stable internet connection Knowledge of Ontario geography and transportation routes is an asset Availability for occasional evenings or weekends during peak periods Pay: $55,200.00-$63,600.00 per year Benefits: Dental care Extended health care Life insurance Vision care Work from home Application question(s): Are you currently residing in Ontario and able to work remotely within the province?
