MNRL Logistics | Sanford, FL | Full-Time, On-Site About Us MNRL Logistics is a fast-growing Central Florida freight company that runs its own fleet and an in-house freight brokerage. We move beverage and consumer goods freight for an established base of manufacturing customers, and we're building our own technology platform to scale. The Role We're looking for a freight pro who can do it all: build a strong carrier network, cover brokered loads, and grow new shipper business. You'll start with steady freight from our existing customers, and you'll be paid for every new account you bring in. This role is for someone who knows carriers, likes to sell, and wants their earnings to grow with what they build. What You'll Do Carriers and Dispatch Build and grow a trusted network of go-to carriers for our growing national lanes Vet carriers for authority, insurance, and safety before booking Post loads on DAT and other load boards, source capacity, and negotiate fair rates Send rate confirmations, track loads from pickup to delivery, and handle check calls, delays, detention, and reschedules Collect PODs and paperwork so loads get invoiced and carriers get paid on time Sales and Growth Prospect and close new shipper accounts. Quote and price freight to win business while protecting margin Grow volume with existing customers by finding new lanes and opportunities Keep customers informed and earn repeat business through reliable service Reporting Report weekly on loads moved, margin, on-time performance, new accounts, and fleet KPIs What We're Looking For 5+ years in freight brokerage, carrier sales, or truck dispatch A proven network of carrier relationships, not just one-off load board bookings A track record of bringing in and growing shipper accounts Hands-on experience with DAT or similar load boards and a TMS Strong knowledge of carrier vetting, rate cons, and FMCSA basics A negotiator who wins fair rates on both sides without burning bridges Organized, self-driven, and calm when loads go sideways Comfortable with new tools (we use AI and automation heavily) Florida freight market knowledge is a big plus Compensation Base salary Commission on new shipper accounts you bring in Commission on brokered gross margin Pay: $50,200.00 - $60,600.00 per year Application Question(s): How many years have you worked in freight brokerage, carrier sales, or dispatch, and in what roles? Roughly how many carriers do you consider go-to partners you could call today, and on which lanes and equipment types? Do you feel your relationships can be converted to build lane capacity? Describe the steps you take to vet a new carrier before booking them, including any tools or services you use. On average, how many loads per week have you personally covered or dispatched, and on which load boards and TMS? Have you brought in new shipper accounts yourself? If yes, how many in the last two years, and briefly describe how you landed one. A carrier cancels two hours before pickup on a time-sensitive load. In a few sentences, what do you do?
