Dispatcher and Customer Service Representative

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Dispatcher to join our air freight trucking operation in the Chicago O’Hare Airport area. This is an immediate opening for someone who thrives in a fast-paced transportation environment and understands the importance of communication, accuracy, and customer service. Responsibilities include: Dispatching and coordinating drivers throughout the U.S. Communicating pickup and delivery information to drivers and customers Monitoring shipments and ensuring on-time service Updating customers regarding shipment status Entering and maintaining accurate shipment and dispatch information Working with Microsoft Excel and other computer-based systems Handling customer questions and resolving service issues Coordinating with warehouse, drivers, customers, and management Qualifications: Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and make decisions in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Transportation, trucking, air freight, or logistics experience preferred Knowledge of the Chicago O’Hare cargo market is a plus Dependable attendance and ability to work as part of a team Position is available immediately.
