Dispatcher and Customer Service Representative

Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher to coordinate transportation and logistics operations within our Towing office. The ideal candidate will utilize advanced transportation management systems and analysis skills to ensure efficient wreck and roadside assistance call completion. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where communication skills and technical proficiency are essential for success. Responsibilities Coordinate, Schedule & Dispatch Drivers and equipment in an efficient and effective manner. Utilize GPS, Towbooks, Bring and other tools for call planning, tracking, and optimizing for pickups and delivery of client vehicles and equipment. Complete client billing in a timely manner, making sure to pay attention to overages and other factors that would affect the bill to ensure the costs provided to the client are correct. Assist with payroll generation and timesheet collection. Communicate effectively with drivers, carriers, vendors, and internal teams via multi-line phone systems, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Show up on time ready to work Maintain detailed records of dispatch activities, vehicle status, using data entry skills. Requirements Proven experience in dispatching within logistics or transportation management environments. Strong knowledge of transportation management systems such as Towbooks and Bring is preferred. Familiarity with GPS technology, and transportation planning tools. Understanding of Towing, recovery and heavy equipment transportation preferred. Ability to work independently with a strong sense of personal accountability. Clean DMV record Reliable transportation Clean background check and criminal record. Strong communication skills with professional phone etiquette. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multitasking capabilities.
