What You'll Do As a Dispatcher, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of approximately 40 dedicated drivers and ensure freight is delivered safely, efficiently, and on time. Driver Management Plan and dispatch a dedicated fleet of approximately 40 drivers Provide operational support and guidance to drivers throughout the shift Communicate instructions clearly and effectively to ensure safe, productive operations Address driver concerns and support a positive driver experience Promote fair and consistent driver utilization while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency Equipment Coordination Schedule preventative maintenance and coordinate emergency repairs Maximize utilization of company and contracted equipment Work closely with shop personnel to coordinate required servicing Ensure trailer wash and sanitation schedules are completed on time Load Planning & Order Management Monitor shipments through proactive tracking and tracing Accurately enter and maintain dispatch information within transportation management systems Communicate order updates, delays, and critical information to internal stakeholders Ensure service commitments and KPIs are achieved Customer Service Manage relationships with a core group of customers Provide timely updates and proactive communication regarding shipment status Resolve issues quickly and professionally Escalate service concerns when necessary and support continuous improvement initiatives Safety & Regulatory Compliance Ensure drivers operate within Hours of Service regulations Verify equipment compliance across operating jurisdictions Confirm payloads meet legal and equipment capacity requirements Support Tandet's commitment to safe and compliant transportation operations What We're Looking For: Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of dispatch e…
