Responsibilities Coordinate and schedule pickups, deliveries, and vehicle dispatches. Monitor GPS data to optimize routes, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance with DOT regulations. Communicate effectively with drivers, carriers, customers, and internal teams via multi-line phone systems and internal communication platforms. Manage phone call inquiries related to freight status, shipment details, or scheduling adjustments with professionalism and clarity. Skills Strong knowledge of GPS technology, road transportation operations, and logistics principles. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-moving environment. Effective communication skills for clear phone etiquette and internal coordination across multiple departments. Experience with freight handling, shipping & receiving procedures, and fleet management practices. Ability to perform detailed data entry accurately while managing multi-line phone systems. Familiarity with DOT regulations related to transportation safety and compliance. Analysis skills to evaluate routing options, optimize dispatching processes, and improve overall logistics performance.
