Dispatcher Lehigh, FL Temp-to-Hire Pay: $19–$21/hour Immediate Placement Available TempExperts is seeking a dependable and experienced Dispatcher to support daily transportation and delivery operations for a busy industrial environment in Lehigh, FL . This position will coordinate scheduling and routing, communicate with drivers and management, maintain records, and help ensure deliveries and daily operations run safely and efficiently. Reliable, on-time attendance is a priority for this position. The ideal candidate will be comfortable interacting directly with drivers, enforcing established safety requirements, and addressing issues professionally when requirements are not being followed. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not required. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate daily schedules, routes, and delivery activities to support efficient operations. Communicate with drivers regarding schedules, routes, assignments, and operational needs. Work with management to optimize scheduling, routing, and service. Monitor route performance and identify issues that may affect delivery schedules or efficiency. Interact professionally with drivers and address routine questions or concerns. Help ensure drivers and employees follow established PPE, safety, and site requirements. Enforce applicable PPE and code requirements in a professional and consistent manner. Respond to customer and internal inquiries regarding deliveries and schedules. Prepare and maintain daily reports, records, and other required documentation. Perform data entry and general clerical duties related to dispatch operations. Use office equipment including scanners, printers, and other standard office technology. Assist management with maintaining an organized and efficient dispatch operation. Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements: Previous dispatch, transportation, logistics, or related experience preferred. Experience working directly with drivers strongly preferred. Ability to confidently enforce PPE, safety, and established site requirements. Strong attendance and punctuality are essential. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not required. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Proficient in Microsoft Word and comfortable learning other computer systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Professional and confident when communicating with drivers, management, customers, and coworkers. Ability to follow established procedures and address issues appropriately.
