Dispatcher

We are a well-established garage door company with 17 years in business, and we are looking for 2 Dispatchers to join our team. We are looking for organized, dependable individuals who can efficiently coordinate technicians and route them to jobs throughout the Houston area. Available Shifts 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Responsibilities Dispatch and coordinate technicians throughout the Houston area. Route technicians efficiently based on location, appointment times, and availability. Coordinate multiple technicians throughout the day. Utilize Google Maps and other mapping tools to plan efficient routes. Be familiar with Houston streets, neighborhoods, ZIP codes, and surrounding areas. Monitor technician locations and make routing adjustments as needed. Communicate job details, addresses, and updates to technicians. Handle last-minute changes and routing adjustments. Keep daily technician routes organized and running efficiently. Communicate professionally with technicians, customers, and management. Preferred Qualifications Previous dispatching experience preferred. Experience routing technicians to jobs is highly preferred. Experience working in a garage door, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or other field-service company is a plus. Strong knowledge of Houston and surrounding areas. Comfortable using Google Maps, GPS, and routing software. Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills. Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust quickly when things change. Spanish-speaking is a plus, but not required Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Experience: Dispatching: 1 year (Required) Work Location: In person
