Dispatcher

About the Position Priority Courier Experts is seeking a dependable, organized Dispatcher to help coordinate our same-day delivery operations. If you enjoy solving problems, communicating with people, and keeping things moving in a fast-paced environment, we’d like to hear from you! In this role, you will coordinate on-demand and scheduled deliveries, communicate with drivers and independent contractors, and monitor delivery progress. You may also provide backup support to our customer service team during busy periods or when additional coverage is needed. Responsibilities Coordinate and dispatch on-demand and scheduled delivery work to available drivers and independent contractors. Review delivery orders for accuracy, including pickup locations, destinations, timing, and special instructions. Monitor active deliveries and communicate with drivers to keep work on schedule. Adjust assignments as needed to address delays, changing priorities, or customer requests. Provide customers with delivery updates and estimated arrival times. Work closely with dispatch and customer service teammates to resolve issues and maintain reliable service. Provide customer service backup, including answering calls, entering orders, and responding to customer questions. Maintain accurate order information and clear communication throughout each delivery. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Dispatch, courier, logistics, transportation, or delivery industry experience preferred. Customer service experience preferred. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while staying calm and professional. Comfortable using computers, entering information accurately, and learning dispatch software. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable attendance and a commitment to providing excellent service. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Priority Courier Experts operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The schedule and any backup coverage expectations will be discussed during the interview process.
