Dispatcher Location: Miami, FL Schedule: Monday–Friday, with flexibility to occasionally cover additional shifts Build Your Career in Intermodal Logistics RoadOne IntermodaLogistics is looking for an experienced Bilingual Dispatcher to join our Miami terminal. In this role, you’ll coordinate the timely pickup and delivery of freight while working closely with drivers, customers, vendors, and other RoadOne terminals. You’ll manage daily dispatch activity, track shipments, monitor equipment, and make real-time decisions to keep freight moving efficiently. What You’ll Do Plan daily dispatch and assign loads based on business needs, driver availability, and capabilities. Ensure loads are covered and pickups and deliveries remain on schedule. Communicate dispatch instructions, load information, and equipment requirements to drivers. Track and trace shipments, monitor freight volume, and proactively address delays or operational issues. Monitor equipment utilization and help reduce unnecessary per diem and other operational costs. Coordinate with customers regarding appointments, scheduling changes, delays, and delivery issues. Enter and update customer loads and driver information within company systems. Ensure drivers have the correct equipment, paperwork, keys, credentials, and information needed for each load. Coordinate equipment repairs with vendors and assist with yard checks as needed. Monitor driver performance and communicate performance or policy concerns to leadership. Work with other RoadOne terminals to meet customer needs and ensure freight is picked up and delivered as scheduled. Maintain required operational records and prepare customer tracking reports. What We’re Looking For Bilingual communication skills required. Experience in intermodal, drayage, logistics, or transportation strongly preferred. Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Strong computer skills and ability to learn and work within multiple systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make timely, independent decisions. Ability to read and interpret business reports, daily logs, and operational information. Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Flexible and willing to occasionally work additional hours or shifts to support customer and operational needs.
