On Call Services and RentalsDispatch Specialist Company: On Call Services and Rentals Location: 2309 S 49th W Ave, Tulsa, OK 74107 Job Type: Full-time Work Setting: In person Schedule: Day shift, 6:00 a.m. start About Us On Call Services and Rentals provides roll-off dumpsters, front load waste service, portable restrooms, septic service and storage containers to residential, commercial and construction customers throughout the Tulsa and Oklahoma City metro areas. Position Summary The Dispatch Specialist coordinates daily field operations for both our Tulsa and Oklahoma City service areas from our Tulsa office. This position assigns drivers and equipment, schedules service, and monitors route progress throughout the day. The Dispatch Specialist serves as the primary point of contact between drivers, customers and the office, and is responsible for making sure scheduled work is completed accurately and on time. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assign drivers and trucks to daily routes across the Tulsa and Oklahoma City service areas at the start of each shift Schedule deliveries, exchanges, removals and service calls using the company's dispatch software Add same-day and priority orders to active routes and communicate changes to drivers Monitor route progress and resolve service issues such as site access problems, incorrect addresses and missed stops Communicate with customers regarding delivery windows, service changes and site requirements Close out routes daily, verifying completed stops, mileage and disposal records Coordinate with Customer Care, Sales and Operations to make sure orders are scheduled and fulfilled as sold Maintain accurate records in all dispatch and customer systems Perform other duties as assigned Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 1 or more years of experience in dispatch, logistics, scheduling or high-volume customer service Proficiency with computers and the ability to work in multiple systems while handling phone calls Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to reliably report to work at 6:00 a.m. Preferred Qualifications Dispatch experience in waste services, equipment rental, construction or transportation Experience with routing or dispatch software Working knowledge of the Tulsa and Oklahoma City metro areas Work Environment This is a full-time, in-office position at our Tulsa location.
