Dispatch/Administrative Assistant

SERVPRO Team Fox, one of the largest SERVPRO franchise operations in New Jersey, is looking for a motivated, organized, and outgoing professional to join our growing team as a Dispatcher / Customer Service & Operations Coordinator . We are looking for more than someone to simply answer phones. The ideal candidate has experience in customer service, dispatching, sales, and administrative operations, with the confidence to take initiative, coordinate teams, and help keep our operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Dispatching & Customer Service Answer and manage inbound calls professionally, including emergency service requests. Assess incoming calls, prioritize urgency, and dispatch crews to job sites. Coordinate with project managers, field technicians, and customers to ensure timely responses. Monitor job assignments and follow up to ensure customer needs are addressed. Maintain accurate records of calls, dispatches, and customer communications. Participate in a rotating after-hours on-call schedule with additional compensation. Administrative & Operational Support Assist with daily office operations and administrative responsibilities. Support other departments and team members as needed. Help maintain organized schedules, customer records, and job documentation. Identify opportunities to improve processes and overall customer service. Take initiative and step in wherever needed to help the team succeed. Sales, Marketing & Community Engagement Make outbound calls to potential customers following local property damage events to offer SERVPRO's assistance. Follow up on leads and identify opportunities to generate new business. Assist with social media engagement, online marketing inquiries, and lead follow-up. Represent SERVPRO Team Fox at community events, including parades, fairs, carnivals, and community days. Build positive relationships with customers, local businesses, and community partners. Qualifications Previous experience in the home services industry preferred; restoration industry experience is a strong plus. Experience handling inbound customer calls, dispatching, and outbound sales calls. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Confident, friendly, outgoing personality with the ability to communicate persuasively and professionally. Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations. Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable taking ownership of responsibilities. Demonstrated leadership abilities and a team-first attitude. Comfortable using computers, customer management software, and social media platforms. Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving and background checks, consistent with applicable law. Willingness to participate in rotating after-hours phone coverage.
