The Director, Operations is a senior operating leader for HABCO and is accountable for converting customer demand and backlog into predictable, safe, high-quality and profitable execution. The role owns the end-to-end operating flow, with primary accountability for production, shipment and customer delivery. This role will establish the operating cadence, cross-functional alignment, leadership discipline and continuous-improvement systems required to improve on-time delivery, throughput, lead time, productivity and margin. As HABCO grows in volume and complexity, the Director will build the operational capability, leadership depth and scalable processes necessary to execute customer commitments consistently. Primary Responsibilities · Own end-to-end process flow from order intake through production, shipment and customer delivery, ensuring work moves predictably across functions and constraints are surfaced and resolved early. · Develop and coach operational leaders to strengthen execution, ownership, accountability and continuous improvement within their teams; build bench strength and leadership capability for future growth. · Establish clear goals, KPIs and accountability across operational functions; monitor performance trends and take timely corrective action when results deviate from plan. · Lead cross-functional alignment and decision-making across and in partnership with all execution critical partners, (including Sales/Service, Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality) resolving identified barriers and improving end-to-end flow. · Ensure customer commitments related to quality, delivery and responsiveness are consistently met or exceeded; serve as the senior operational point of contact for delivery, performance and escalation issues. · Drive disciplined daily, weekly and monthly operating rhythms, using clear priorities, KPIs, action tracking and escalation mechanisms to ensure execution against plan. · Partner closely with Finance to manage operating performance, cost structure, labor efficiency, productivity, inventory and margin drivers, connecting operational decisions to financial outcomes. · Foster a safety-first culture in which hazards are proactively identified and mitigated and workplace safety standards are consistently followed in accordance with company requirements. · Lead and execute Lean manufacturing and continuous-improvement initiatives where and when appropriate, including waste reduction, flow improvement, standard work, constraint management and leader standard work. · Drive measurable and sustained improvements in throughput, lead time, cost, productivity and de…
