Director of 3rd Party Logistics
PRx PerformancePRx Performance is a leader in the design, development, manufacturing and distribution of a broad range of fitness equipment with a strong reputation for quality and customer service. Recent additions to our product offerings have created a significant growth opportunity within our onsite manufacturing plant. We are seeking a full-time Director of 3PL to join our talented and customer-focused team. This position would report to PRx’s President and would be responsible for building and leading PRx’s third-party logistics business from the ground up. PRx is based in Fargo, North Dakota. Duties and Responsibilities: Develop the complete 3PL business model, operating plan, pricing structure, and go-to-market strategy Launch and manage 25,000-35,000 square feet of dedicated warehouse space Own the 3PL profit-and-loss statement including revenue, margins, labor, storage utilization, and operating costs Recruit and onboard eCommerce brands that need warehousing, fulfillment, transportation, and returns management Build a scalable customer pipeline, targeting brands with shipping profiles similar to PRx Performance Create customer onboarding procedures, service-level agreements, contracts, and billing controls Build reporting dashboards that give customers clear visibility into inventory, orders, shipping costs, and performance Select and implement the appropriate warehouse management and order-integration technology Integrate customer stores and systems, including Shopify, Amazon, ERP platforms Creating pricing for storage, receiving, pick and pack, parcel shipping, pallet shipments, returns, special projects, and account management Develop inventory-accuracy, order-accuracy, same-day shipping, damage-rate, and on-time delivery standards Establish daily FedEx parcel operations and negotiate competitive carrier rates Manage LTL, truckload, and palletized freight for oversized and heavy products Build efficient receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping processes Forecast labor, storage capacity, shipping volume, and equipment requirements Build reporting dashboards that give customers clear visibility into inventory, orders, shipping costs, and performance Identify opportunities to consolidate freight and leverage PRx’s shipping volume to improve margins Maintain warehouse safety, carrier compliance, customer data security, and inventory controls Ensure the 3PL operation does not disrupt PRx’s existing fulfillment performance Create a three-year growth plan for turning unused warehouse capacity into a meaningful standalone profit center Experience, Skills, and Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent, preferably a degree in Business, Management, Operations, Logistics or similar field Direct eCommerce fulfillment or third-party logistics experience Experience building or significantly expanding a warehouse operation Strong understanding of FedEx parcel shipping, LTL freight, and oversized product fulfillment Experience with Shopify, ERP software, warehouse management systems, and shipping software Proven ability to price logistics services and manage at profitable P&L Comfortable selling the service, onboarding customers, and operating the business Highly entrepreneurial; this is a business builder role, not simply a warehouse management position PRx Performance, LLC partnered with PRO Resources are Equal Opportunity Employers.
