Buckland is looking for a Director Human Resources What you’ll be doing This position is responsible for planning, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the policies, activities, and staff of the Human Resource (HR) department, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organizations mission and talent strategy across all lines of business. They are responsible for translating business needs into integrated human resource solutions to fully leverage employee capability within Canada, US, and Mexico, to deliver excellent, consistent, sustainable performance over the long term. You will be responsible for Provide leadership and oversight to HR policies, standards, and procedures ensuring alignment with Company’s vision, mission, and values Collaborate with senior leadership to understand the organizations goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, retention, Plan, lead, develop, coordinate, and implement policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys. Develops and executes practices for hiring and talent management, ensure the organization is compliant with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, Plan and oversee the delivery of annual Corporate HR initiatives related to Performance Management, Talent Planning, Culture Change, Communications, Compensation and Rewards. Superior written and verbal communication skills including representing the organization at various events, conferences, and other public/private settings. Strong background using Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook to analyze data, track progress, create reports and strategize Adaptable to manage crises and emergencies in a fast-paced work environment ensuring decision making holds the values of protecting the organization’s values and reputation Superior level of organization and time management skills in order to set clear goals and expectations. Lead cross-functional groups by developing a result driven environment to deliver successful projects and mandates ensuring high-quality outcomes. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve service quality and efficiency.
