Dir I- Procurement
LaddersFor our client, we are seeking a Dir I- Procurement to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space. This senior procurement leader will own category strategy for MRO and Consumables, with a strong focus on cost discipline, supplier performance, and supply continuity. The role will partner closely with internal stakeholders and strategic suppliers to shape sourcing decisions that support operational readiness and long-term value. The position also calls for data-driven analysis, contract negotiation, and proactive risk management across the supply base. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $125,000 – $150,000 annually Responsibilities Develop and execute a multi-year category strategy for MRO and Consumables Conduct continuous market analysis to identify trends and suppliers Perform deep dive analysis of spend data to identify cost savings opportunities Lead complex RFx processes and negotiate contracts with suppliers Oversee negotiation of Master Service Agreements and Service Level Agreements Establish KPIs and conduct quarterly business reviews with strategic partners Identify vulnerabilities in the supply chain and develop contingency plans Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field 10+ years of progressive experience in procurement or strategic sourcing Minimum 5 years managing MRO, Indirects, or Consumables in aerospace/defense CPSM, MCIPS, or PMP certification highly desirable Working knowledge of Oracle, Deltek, or similar procurement systems Benefits Comprehensive health benefits package Retirement savings plan with company match Opportunities for ongoing professional development Collaborative work environment with cross-functional teams Employee recognition and rewards programs Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
