Diesel Technician/Mechanic

Experienced Diesel Mechanic – Fleet Maintenance TD Harris Hauling Inc. Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5 Days a Week Pay: TOP PAY – Based on Experience Benefits: Health Benefits + 401(k) TD Harris Hauling Inc. is looking for an experienced and dependable Diesel Mechanic to join our team and help maintain our fleet of heavy-duty trucks. We operate a busy fleet of dump trucks and need someone who understands diesel equipment, takes pride in their work, and can keep our trucks safe, dependable, and on the road. Responsibilities: Perform preventative maintenance and routine services on fleet trucks Diagnose and repair diesel engine problems Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues Perform brake, suspension, steering, and air system repairs Diagnose check-engine lights and fault codes Perform oil changes, filters, fluid services, and regular PM inspections Identify problems before they result in major breakdowns Complete repairs efficiently to minimize truck downtime Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed Qualifications: Must have previous experience working on heavy-duty diesel trucks Experience with dump trucks and vocational trucks is strongly preferred Must be able to diagnose and troubleshoot problems independently Must have knowledge of air brakes, suspension, electrical systems, and diesel engines Must be dependable and able to report to work consistently Must be able to work independently and manage daily repair priorities Tools: Company tools are available. Personal tools are a PLUS.
