This hands-on role supports heavy-duty trucks, fleet vehicles and heavy equipment in both our shop and through mobile road service along the I-75 corridor. You will diagnose and repair diesel systems, complete preventive maintenance and DOT inspections, document work accurately, and help keep customer equipment safe, reliable and on the road. We are looking for an experienced, dependable technician who takes ownership of workmanship, safety and documentation. WHAT YOU BRING · Hands-on experience with heavy-duty truck, fleet vehicle and/or diesel equipment repair. · Working knowledge of diesel systems, fluid service, air-brake fundamentals and basic electrical testing. · Comfort using diagnostic software; Tech II technicians should be capable of independent, mid-level diagnostics. · Valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR). · Ability to pass drug screening and meet applicable DOT requirements. · Basic hand tools. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS · ASE certifications. · CDL-A license. · OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 training. · ASE certifications, CDL-A and OSHA credentials are valued and factored into your offer and advancement. WHAT YOU'LL DO · Diagnose and repair - engine, transmission, emissions/aftertreatment, electrical, air-brake and hydraulic systems on diesel trucks and equipment; verify repairs before equipment leaves. · Preventive maintenance and DOT - perform scheduled PM services and DOT inspections and identify emerging equipment issues early. · Mobile road service - respond to road calls, perform field repairs and diagnostics, and keep the service truck stocked and organized. · Work orders and documentation - review each work order before starting, document findings, repair steps and parts in ALLDATA, and clearly identify billable work so estimates and invoices are accurate. · Communication - keep service writers, the foreman and the parts team informed about progress, added work and delays. · Safety and workmanship - complete daily JSA and vehicle inspections, use required PPE and lockout/tagout procedures, maintain a clean work area, and work with a first-time-fix mindset. PAY & SCHEDULE · $22-$25 per hour starting pay, based on experience, certifications and technician level. · Full-time, Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM-4:30 PM. · On-call mobile road service as needed. · Primary work location: 128 Dav Ln, London, KY 40741.
