Diesel Technician (Company Fleet)

Medical/Dental/Vision/401K Consistent year-round work Most equipment is on the newer side and much of it is still under warranty, drivers have an average of 10+ years of experience and do a great job taking care of equipment. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 12pm-8pm Overtime as required Responsibilities: Minimize downtime on trucks and implement a top notch service program Make service calls during the day as needed Oversee or perform scheduled preventative maintenance on all tractors and trailers Resolve DVIR defects as reported daily when trucks get back to the yard Inspect and diagnose mechanical issues Inspect, test, and repair air brake systems, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems Repair or replace faulty parts such as pistons, bearings, gears, and valves Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed Qualifications: - Knowledge of Detroit Diesel and Cummins diesel engines and their components - Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
