Diesel Technician/Tractor Trailer Tech — Night Shift 4pm-Midnight Pro Vision Fleet Services | North Lakeland Near Kathleen Road VETERANS HIGHLY ENCOURAGED TO APPLY! We’re looking for a skilled diesel Technician and we’re willing to pay for someone who knows their stuff! Ultra fast hiring process! One of the biggest benefit of this position is it’s a salary position. You will earn a 40 hour check even when the work doesn’t take a full week. Our current Technician averages about 30 hours a week and gets paid for 40. When the work is done, you get to go home! It’s all about how you set yourself up. Do good PM and you will have the easy job every technician wishes for! Being good at your job should mean something—and here, it means more time at home! You will practically have your own large shop and take care of a single customer dedicated fleet of well-maintained, extremely specialized vehicles. The Repairs need to be done correctly and in an appropriate timeframe. The hours of operation are a guideline, if you wish to go in early to get work done that’s completely up to you, we are flexible. The shop is on Kathleen Road in North Lakeland, and the scheduled hours are 4 p.m. to midnight. Pay can be weekly or biweekly, whichever you prefer. There will be a set raise schedule negotiated so you never have to think about your next adequate raise. These wont be measly 10cent corporate raises eithier. We want people to stick around and feel valued. All holidays paid. Vacation time is negotiated to start. This is a 1099 position and poses a lot of benefits we can talk about during interview. Tractor-trailer experience is strongly preferred. The ability to diagnose problems and complete repairs independently. Dependable attendance and punctuality is a absolute must, we will not tolerate calling out and being late all the time whatsoever. This equipment is so specialized there’s no substitutions and has to be ready to work, we need someone we can really count on. Your own basic tools. A willingness to learn, due to the nature of how specialized the equipment is, we expect there will be things we’ll need to teach and train on. A willingness to handle ANY jobs that come your way, NO COMPLAINERS (we have all worked with some :) Some welding experience. There’s occasional stainless steel and aluminum work, but you don’t have to be a professional fabricator. Must have an adequate cell phone to take calls and discuss workload. Clean Criminal record *Please only apply if you meet this criteria* The work includes diagnostics, preventive maintenance, engine and drivetrain repairs, electrical work, hydraulics, air brakes, pumping systems and occasional welding and fabrication.
