Diesel Mechanic

BEELMAN TRUCK CO. IS GROWING AND LOOKING FOR FULL-TIME EXPERIENCED DIESEL MECHANICS TO JOIN OUR EAST ST. LOUIS, IL TERMINAL. Schedule : 2nd shift Mon-Fri 3pm-11:30pm AND every 3rd Sat 7am -3:30pm PAY : $20 -$30/hr. Based on experience Job Duties · Diagnose mechanic and electrical problems using diagnostic tools and manuals · Repair or replace faulty engine components like transmissions, brakes, and fuel systems · Perform routine maintenance tasks like oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid level checks · Communicate effectively with drivers and supervisors to diagnose issues and explain repairs · Maintain detailed records of services performed on vehicles · Ensure adherence to safety regulations and shop protocols Job Requirements · Must possess own tools · Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with your hands · Strong understanding of Class 8 equipment in relation to DOT and TMC Standards · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills · Ability to work independently and as part of a team · Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment · Must be able to meet physical requirements of the position – lifting, bending, climbing, standing long periods of time, etc. Benefits · Pay based upon experience ·Great Health Benefits- Company Paid for Employee, $50.00 A Week For Family · Family Dental & Vision · Short & Long Term Disability · 401(K) 25 % Company Match - Up to IRS Limits · 2% annual profit sharing after 6 months · 5% weekly bonus · Paid Vacation Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Tuition reimbursement Vision insurance Application Question(s): Are you able to pass a pre-employment urine drug screen and hair follicle test?
