Current employees: please log into our system to apply Work Schedule: Graveyard Job Type: Full-Time Union Position: Union - Teamsters Local 63 Employee Pay Type: Hourly Work Environment: 100% On-Site Compensation: $35.75 – $38.00 (this pay range represents the rates of pay for step 1 to the maximum step for this position in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement. The starting pay for the successful candidate will start at step 1) Department Fleet Maintenance Job Summary Service and/or repair all mechanical and electronic systems on fleet tractors. Included but not limited to maintenance and/or repair of diesel engines, transmissions, and differentials. Knowledge of heavy-duty electric vehicles is a plus. Job Responsibilities Diagnosis, repair and maintain diesel and electric tractors Perform brake jobs on equipment with drum and/or disc brakes Decision making and problem solving required Ability to troubleshoot and make repairs with minimal assistance. Ability to work with minimal supervision Ability to deal effectively and professionally with all levels of individuals doing business from within and outside the company Must be able to work night shifts and weekends Other duties as required Requirements / Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Must have a valid California Driver License with good driving record At least four (4) years' experience in Diesel engine and power train repair Must furnish basic hand tools and roll-a-way tool box Must pass a physical and pre-employment drug test Additional Information Applications will be received until a sufficient number of applications are received.
