Diesel Mechanic

Overview We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair, particularly with diesel engines. This role requires expertise in diagnosing and fixing mechanical issues, ensuring that all vehicles are safe and operational. The Diesel Mechanic will work with various industrial equipment and must be comfortable using hand tools and interpreting schematics. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems. Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain braking systems, electrical components, and other essential vehicle systems. Change tires. Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot mechanical problems. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Assist in heavy lifting tasks as required during repairs or maintenance activities. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repair tasks. Experience Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably with a focus on diesel engines. Familiarity with schematics and technical manuals for various types of vehicles. Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices, including brake repair and electrical systems. Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding environments. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
