Diesel Mechanic

Keep trucks and heavy equipment moving on I-15. Bar M Diesel & Automotive in Beaver, UT is hiring a full-time Diesel Mechanic to diagnose and repair semi trucks, trailers, heavy equipment and farm machinery. Pay is $26–$34/hr, plus 401(k) with matching and paid time off. What you'll do - Diagnose and repair diesel engines on tractor-trailers, heavy equipment and industrial equipment - Work on transmissions, differentials, hydraulics, air brakes, HVAC and electrical systems - Handle routine maintenance and PM: oil changes, lube service, brakes - Do engine overhauls, rebuilds and component replacements - Weld and fabricate parts or modifications when needed - Read schematics and service manuals to track down tough problems - Keep accurate records of repairs and parts used What we're looking for - Experience as a diesel mechanic (heavy truck or heavy equipment) - Comfortable with computer diagnostics, schematics and service manuals - Welding and fabrication skills are a plus - Able to lift heavy parts and work in all kinds of weather - Valid driver's license Why Bar M - Wide variety of work: semis, trailers, heavy equipment, farm machinery.
