Diesel Mechanic
XPACRequirements Must have mechanical knowledge of semi-truck (diesel), fork truck (electric/LP/diesel), and trailer repair Valid driver's license Job Responsibilities * Operate and inspect mechanical equipment to diagnose defects Responsible for general maintenance and mechanical repair of diesel engines, transmissions, (air) brake systems, chassis, electrical trouble shooting, steering and cooling systems Analyze malfunctions and perform general overhaul, tune up and/or preventative maintenance of equipment including semi-trucks (diesel), fork trucks (electric/LP/diesel), trailers, PIVs, golf carts and gators Perform basic tire work, such as replacement, tire rotation, and tread depth checks Dismantle and reassemble equipment Repair, replace and adjust necessary units and parts Maintain records of maintenance work on vehicles Additional Information * Required hours are Monday-Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm with OT as required (minimal) XPAC provides all tools necessary for position Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee assistance program Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance Ability to Commute: Milan, IL 61264 (Required) Work Location: In person
