Diesel Mechanic
Olander Inc.As our Diesel Technician, you will play an essential role in keeping our community and business moving by: Performing preventative maintenance, inspections and major repairs on heavy-duty diesel truck and trailers Diagnosing complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems using modern diagnostic software. completing comprehensive repairs on engines, transmissions, steering and braking systems Preparing accurate work orders and assisting in managing parts inventory. Maintaining a clean, safe and efficient workspace following all DOT regulations What you will bring (Qualifications) Experience: Minimum (2-5) years of verifiable heavy-duty diesel repair and diagnostic experience. Licensing: Valid driver's license. Required Knowledge: Strong technical understanding of Cummins, Caterpillar, Detroit or similar diesel engine platforms. Tools: Basic hand tools Education: High School diploma or GED: ASE Certifications are highly valued and rewarded.
