Karst Stage is hiring an experienced Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of luxury motorcoaches, Sprinter vans, and transit buses. What We Offer: $28–$35/hour based on experience and certifications $9,000 sign-on bonus $1,000 annual tool allowance $600/month housing stipend for your first year for eligible relocating candidates 401(k) with company match Medical insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Candidates relocating for the position may receive either the relocation package or the $9,000 sign-on bonus, not both. Local candidates remain eligible for the sign-on bonus. What You'll Do Diagnose and repair diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicle systems Perform preventative maintenance and inspections Repair brakes, suspension, steering, drivetrain, and electrical systems Troubleshoot vehicle diagnostics and HVAC systems Maintain accurate maintenance records Follow DOT, safety, and company procedures What We're Looking For 1+ year of heavy-duty diesel mechanic experience Valid driver's license Ability to obtain a CDL within 6 months Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. and stand, bend, kneel, crawl, and climb as needed.
