The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. Key Responsibilities Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and other related components. Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tune-ups. Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical issues. Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed. Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical problems. Order and maintain inventory of parts and supplies as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or similar role. Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, and hydraulics. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Proficient with diagnostic tools and equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Work Environment This position involves working in a garage or outdoor environment, often in varying weather conditions.
