Holloway Truck and Offroad AccessoriesJob Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty diesel-powered equipment and machinery. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability of construction machinery, industrial equipment, and fleet vehicles. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse equipment types, including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery, in a fast-paced environment that values precision and proactive maintenance. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, air brakes, and suspension components using OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) schematics and advanced diagnostic tools. Conduct repairs and maintenance on heavy construction equipment such as excavators, cranes, bulldozers, and loaders to ensure operational efficiency. Fabricate custom parts or modifications using power tools and welding techniques to meet specific repair needs or enhance equipment performance. Service and repair farm machinery, tractor-trailers, forklifts, HVAC systems on equipment, and other heavy-duty vehicles or machinery requiring specialized attention. Perform tire service, brake repairs, alignment adjustments, hydraulic repairs, and suspension work adhering to safety standards. Maintain detailed service records of all repairs performed; ensure compliance with safety protocols during all maintenance activities. Skills Preferred but not required Proven dealership experience with heavy equipment mechanics or automotive repair is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical diagnostics, schematics reading, and troubleshooting techniques. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment (including soldering), and diagnostic software for electrical and mechanical systems. Experience working with construction machinery maintenance and servicing large industrial equipment. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during repairs or inspections. Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients or team members regarding repairs or maintenance needs.
