Diesel Mechanic

Overview Taylor & Lloyd is looking for a Diesel Mechanic to become a vital part of maintaining and repairing diesel engines. We are an International Truck dealership that deals with mostly Cummins and International engines. Your hands-on skills will be utilized in a wide range of repairs; quick lubes, brake replacement, egr system, def system, aftertreament and more. We value proactive problem-solving, attention to detail, and a passion for vehicle maintenance. Guidance and training will be provided both in house and through OEM. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, hydraulics, and air brake systems using OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specifications and schematics. Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes Interpret technical manuals and schematics to accurately diagnose mechanical or electrical faults within complex systems. Qualifications Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in diesel engine repair and vehicle maintenance. Dealership experience is highly preferred for familiarity with OEM parts and repair standards. capable of working with power tools and hand tools efficiently. Knowledge of heavy equipment operation Ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately; experience with diesel engine diagnostics is a plus. Mechanical knowledge across transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, HVAC systems, electrical systems, and tire service. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments.
